VBS 2017 “Mighty Fortress”   July 24-28, 6pm-8pm

Join us this year as we learn about Jesus and that through Him the victory is won!  Children age 3 – 103 are welcome, Holy Cross members, friends, and visitors!

That’s right: this year we are introducing an all-inclusive VBS, with special lessons, songs, and activities for the older ‘children’ (adults)!  Pastor and Becky H will show you all sorts of fun facts about Martin Luther, and what led him to start the Reformation in a special five-night presentation called “Truth Be Told.”  What a fun and interesting way to spend a week in this 500th anniversary year of the Reformation!

At “Mighty Fortress”, we will hear how God is our refuge and strength.  Friends and even family may fail us, we may not always be the best or the most popular, we may even fail ourselves at times, but God promises to be our rock and our salvation – our fortress and sure defense!  So raise your banner!  In Jesus, the victory is won!

Stories that share the mighty and true Word of God invite group participation to help make them memorable, engaging, active, and fun!

High-energy, simple, repeatable tunes deliver the rock-solid message of God’s victory in Christ, and will help ‘stick’ the Bible truths in your heart and mind.

Unique Festival Crafts emphasize Bible truths, and Tournament Games is a fortress full of energy, excitement, and a little bit of silliness!  Picture catapults, stilts, and even a castle moat…
